Successfully defended my title having won the Energia 24 hour Irish Championships in Bangor at the weekend. Still a bit tired after the race and will try put a race report together shortly.

Congrats John. Outstanding effort. Look forward to reading all about it. Hope Recovery goes well. (By the way - how does one recover after running for 24 hours?)
ReplyDeleteJohn, congratulations on a fantastic race. You were heads and shoulders above everyone else, despite your kidney problems (which, by the way, I hope have cleared up by now!). I have nothing but admiration for you, and the way you kept encouraging other runners all the way through despite pushing hard all day yourself was truly inspiring.
